Management Committee

Galloping Gumnut is a not-for-profit organisation run by a Management Committee. Anyone who is a financial member of our Association can be elected to the Committee. Committee members are all volunteers who generously give their time to serve, either in an Executive position (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Public Office) or as a general committee member. The Constitution allows for seven members on the Committee. Committee members are elected at the Annual General meeting which is generally held around October/November each year.

The Committee is responsible for the Governance and Management of the Service. There is generally one meeting per month and majority of these are held via Zoom. We do try and hold face to face meeting, and these are held in a location closer to where most members reside. Childcare and lunch are provided where meetings are held during the day.
